Startup Labs UCLA stands as an annual in-house pre-accelerator program hosted by UCLA's premier entrepreneurship organization, Bruin Entrepreneurs. The platform has successfully propelled numerous startups to the next level, with many of them subsequently joining well-regarded accelerator programs and securing venture funding. At Startup Labs, the team selects candidates based on their ingenuity, intelligence, and commitment to achieving success. Over a twelve-week period, founders are supported in growing their startups through mentorship, virtual working spaces, valuable connections, and other resources.

Greetings Bruins! Let's learn about Bruin Entrepreneurs! Bruin Entrepreneurs stands as the leading entrepreneurship organization at the University of California, Los Angeles. Established in 2013, BE is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship among undergraduates. The organization aids students from various majors and experience levels in launching their ventures through educational workshops crafted to immerse them in the entrepreneurial realm.

Today we introduce 180 Degrees Consulting. 180DC at UCLA leverages the capabilities of accomplished university students to address critical challenges at the nexus of business and social impact. Collaborating closely with influential socially-oriented organizations in Los Angeles and beyond, the group enhances their capacity to attain impactful results.

Hello Bruins! Over the next couple of months we will spotlight all the undergraduate student groups who call our co-working space in Covel Commons, Room 203 home. On weekday evenings, these organizations are busy holding meetings, events and workshops contributing to the vibrant entrepreneurship community at UCLA. First up, we are excited to introduce Bruin Ventures! Bruin Ventures is the premier student-led entrepreneurship, venture capital, and technology club at UCLA. It unites ambitious and entrepreneurially-minded students from various academic disciplines to nurture a startup culture on campus. Each quarter, Bruin Ventures collaborates with VC firms and startups nationwide, offering support in investment strategies, market research, customer acquisition, and more. Moreover, the club organizes a variety of events for its members and the UCLA community, including fireside chats with guest speakers, club socials, and the quarterly club retreat.

It's #GivingTuesday, and we're celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship at Startup UCLA! We fuel a culture of innovation among UCLA students, faculty, staff and alumni. We provide free resources, opportunities, and community to aspiring UCLA entrepreneurs through impactful programs. Our work is made possible through grants, sponsorships and donations. Startup UCLA is hiring a student intern to assist with marketing, communications and social media. We are looking for UCLA undergraduate students who are interested in entrepreneurship, marketing, and events, are comfortable working in a startup environment, and have some flexibility with schedule. This is part time (10 hours/week) paid position for Winter and Spring Quarters with potential opportunities to stay on for the Summer.
